The J. Howard Beach house is located along the Upper Delaware River in Pennsylvania. This grand six bedroom home sits on two acres next a creek and is within walking distance to the Delaware River and Skinner Falls. It lies in the region called Cushetunk by the Native Americans.
J. Howard Beach purchased this land from his brother, Charles E. Beach in 1883. Sons of Eli Beach, the brothers were partners in a tannery upstream, founded by their father. J. Howard Beach married in 1885, and was a prominent Wayne County resident. He was a Postmaster, a Justice of the Peace, co-owner of a lumber business, a Nebraska cattle company, and was involved in the Cochecton Bridge Company.
Currently owned by Lori and Randy, the home, barn and grounds are undergoing restoration.
